With the same trend of nickel price consolidation, the domestic nickel iron price consolidation, long and short game sentiment continued. As of August 28, domestic prices of ≤2% and 10%-15% taste ferro nickel were 4150 yuan/ton and 1020 yuan/nickel, respectively, stable and up 10 yuan/nickel from the end of last month. The consolidation trend of high nickel iron prices this month is mainly due to: first, the downturn in the stainless steel market, steel procurement prices continue to be low, putting pressure on the market; Second, the mine price rose, the iron mill price positive, the final long and short game mood continued, the price consolidation without direction.

Ferrochrome price is weak adjustment, mainly because the downturn in the stainless steel market led to the difficulty of iron mills to support prices. Zhuo Chuang information data show that as of August 28, the domestic high-carbon ferrochrome mainstream offer 8500-8900 yuan /50 base tons, down 200 yuan /50 base tons from the end of last month, a decline of 2.25%; Compared with the same period last year, the price fell by 700 yuan /50 base tons; The decline was 7.45 per cent.
